Gagliardi heralded for strong leadership in state House

On Sunday, Sept. 26, Democrats from all across the metro area gathered in Wheat Ridge at the home of longtime Democratic activist Judi Butz to show their support — and write some checks — to state Representative Sara Gagliardi, D-Arvada.

Gagliardi is in a tight race for her third term representing House District 27, and the event pulled in just over $1,000 from around 30 donors.

Aside from Rep. Gagliardi, the headliner for the evening was State Treasurer Cary Kennedy, who reminded those in attendance that Gagliardi has shown real leadership on the issues of government transparency and fiscal responsibility, and deserved to be re-elected to her third term in the State House.

Also in attendance: outgoing state Senator “Moe” Keller, Representative Max Tyler, State Board of Education member Jane Goff, Arvada City Councilwoman Rachel Zenzinger former state Senator Sue Windels, former state Representative and current State Senate candidate Cheri Jahn, Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder candidate Kathryn Wallace, Jefferson County Public Trustee Margaret Chapman, and Democratic activists Doug Everitt, John and Esther Noriega, Bob and Marilyn Young, Elliot Goldbaum, Allen Weisheit and House District 27 Chair Mary Patee.
