I’ve just received my most current Colorado Statesman and I’m awestruck at the amount of coverage given to the so called “reproductive rights” rally at the Capitol recently.
This current battle in the ongoing culture war is beyond ridiculous!
With all the whining about the objection of taxpayers paying for the sex lives of others, I have to laugh at the photo of Planned Parenthood’s mouthpiece, Monica McCafferty holding a sign saying, “My ovaries, my uterus, my business.” As if she isn’t paid to promote unlimited sex with no consequences, yet she wants us to pay for it?
Amidst this reproductive-circus, one is prompted to ponder why no mention of the real “war on women” ?
Why no mention that a prominent breast surgeon, Dr. Angela Lanfranchi, has called The Pill, a “molotov cocktail” for breast cancer?
Why no mention of the over 2,000 adorable baby girls in the womb — sucking their thumbs, dreaming and bonding with their mother’s voices — who are violently ripped apart and thrown in the trash every day?
Why no questions asked about the psychic scars the women must carry after being forced to abort by their boyfriends? Why no mention of the recent Life Dynamics study of the 80 women killed by boyfriends for refusing to kill their baby?
Or why no mention that the abortionist at Denver’s mega death camp wears a Halloween mask into Denver’s Auschwitz to “work” ?
I do applaud your mention of the 2012 Personhood effort surviving Planned Parenthood’s court challenge to keep us from gathering signatures & off the ballot in the upcoming election. Of course they thought the CO Supreme Court would side with them in opposing the God-given, inalienable right to life but once again, they were wrong.
America has refused to uphold the claims of the Declaration of Independence for the past 40 years at our own peril.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
No amount of cheerleading for the shedding of innocent blood, negates the spiritual laws that America’s founders embraced which should guide us, even today. The violence we are reaping today, sadly, our nation has sown.
