Letters to the Editor

It wasn’t competitive but my candidacy for governor accomplished things

Dear Editor,
“Inside the ring or out, ain’t nothing wrong with going down. It’s staying down that’s wrong.” — Muhammad Ali
DONATE NOW!!!! Donations valid through Dec 2, 2010! For going ALL 15 rounds with the big boys!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! To all who have supported me, donated to my campaign, volunteered on my campaign, took the time to actually read through my website, and lastly, written an article on me or my campaign (yes, that includes the Denver Post... oh wait, the DP never wrote a single word on any of my policies, ideas, solutions, financial strategies or job creation strategies for COLORADO, they only wrote negative demagogue, derogatory personal insults, called me names, and mocked my out of the box thinking) — now that’s “(pop)cornball” journalism!!!!

As a candidate for public office my campaign for governor of Colorado — as it turned out — was not “competitive.” The people deserve a more competitive candidate. If there is a next time, then I will not participate in “the game” unless I can mount a more formidable competitive campaign. You have MY word! MY promise!!

This is not to say that we didn’t accomplish anything! We did!! Here is what we accomplished and what lies ahead:

1.Helped to get the Mission Viejo Library reopened in 2011!!!! Now onto the Jason R. Clark Computer Learning Center!

2.Improved the visibility and information available for “unaffiliated” political candidates in Colorado. Specifically, requested (will be done, but is not official “yet”) the Colorado Secretary of State office include information in the Governor’s packet on the selection process for Lt. Governor. Include a separate link for PDF file for the Governor-Lt. Governor ticket on the SOS website as this is the ONLY public office in Colorado that requires a two-person ticket. And lastly, I intend to work with the Colorado legislature, the Colorado SOS office, and the Colorado Governor’s office to exterminate the 17-month rule/requirement for ONLY “unaffiliated” candidates.

3. Got MY name/brand out there — even though we fell way short on actual votes, we have much more name recognition throughout the state of Colorado v. before we started! The Clark brand = Integrity, Intelligence, Energy, Passion, and Leadership!!!!

4. Met so many good people there are too many to list. Two that I would like to personally thank for their good spirit, good nature, and common purpose are Paul Fiorino (U) and Jaimes Brown (L). Aw, what the heck ya’ll, lets thank Hick (D), Dan Maes (R), and Tom Tancredo (ACP) too! Even though I still think they are all personally scared to death to DEBATE ME!!!!

5. Lastly, and probably most importantly, I learned that “the people” still want a two party political system. Many do not, but not near enough. So, if that is what “the people” want, then that is what they will get. As for the “next time,” who knows? Stay tuned via clarkbrothersinvestments.com orjasonclarkforgovernor.com, 2014 will be here sooner than you can say....REPUBLICAN!!!!

DONATE NOW!!!! Donations valid through Dec 2, 2010! {Hey, WE have a lot of bills to pay!!}
