Spencer’s ruling requires Clear the Bench to file as a political committee within 20 days of his Sept 22 ruling. Move under way to change how votes are tabulated

By Jody Hope Strogoff Toward the end of every summer for more than two decades now, the Denver Rustlers — a spirited group of metro area business men and women, elected officials, dignitaries and leaders from other arenas — don fancy custom embroidered cowboy shirts stuffed in denim jeans with oversized shiny silver belt buckles, cowboy hats and western boots and make a real party out of going to Pueblo to the Colorado State Fair. Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, who goes by the nickname Joe the Plumber, made stops in Grand Junction, Lakewood and Fort Collins as part of the ‘November is Coming’ bus tour meant to rally voters against vulnerable liberal lawmakers in advance of the fall elections. |
